RELIGION NOTES

Jonathon Troy, principal clarinetist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, will perform with Dan Beck on trumpet at 7:30 p.m. today as part of the Summer Music Series at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. EVENTS

Central Christian Church will feature Lee Strobel, author of "The Unexpected Adventure," at its services at 4:30 and 6 p.m. today and 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday at its Henderson campus, 1001 New Beginnings Drive. The author will be broadcast to the church’s other campuses at the following times: 9, 10:20 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday at Desert Oasis High School, 6600 W. SERVICES

St. Bridget Roman Catholic Church, 220 N. 14th St., will have a novena in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the Rev. Jude O. Mbukanma July 8-16. Confessions will be offered at 6 p.m. with the rosary at 6:40 p.m. and Mass at 7 p.m., followed by novena prayers July 8-10 and July 13-16. Confessions will be offered at 4 p.m. with Rosary at 4:40 p.m. and Mass at 5 p.m. followed by Novena prayers July 11-12 (384-3382).

MEETINGS

CLASSES
