EVENTS

First Baptist Church of the Lakes, 9125 Spring Mountain Road, will have a Spring Carnival featuring games, a bounce house, face painting, food, prizes and other activities 5-7 p.m. Sunday. The event is free (982-6056).

The Women of St. Joseph will have their annual St. Joseph’s Table featuring baked goods, fruit, vegetables and flowers, which will be blessed, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. A pasta dinner will be served 11 a.m.-4 p.m. with a donation of $6 at the door. All proceeds will go to benefit the poor (360-0361).
