“This is spectacular,” said a bicyclist riding along the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive on Nov. 9. The bright yellow leaves of cottonwood trees and contrasting reddish and tan sandstone cliffs create a picture-perfect setting. Along the Virgin River between the Zion Canyon Visitor Center and Canyon Junction are some of the best areas for viewing fall colors. This may be the last weekend to enjoy the changing of the season at Zion National Park in Southern Utah.
