2-year-old drowns in west Las Vegas Valley
A 2-year-old child drowned in the west valley Monday afternoon.
The Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the drowing around 1:50 p.m. at a residence in the 3900 block of Redwood Street.
The child was taken to University Medical Center where they were pronounced dead, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
