Coroner identifies Boulder City child found in pool

A 2-year-old boy found floating in his family's pool in Boulder City Tuesday afternoon was identified Wednesday by the Clark County coroner's office as Timothy Dozier.

The coroner's office hadn't determined a cause and manner of death Wednesday.

Boulder City police said they received a 911 call about a child who was not breathing. The boy's father placed the call after he found his son in the backyard pool at a home on Irene Drive.

The Boulder City Fire Department attempted to resuscitate the toddler. He was pronounced dead at Boulder City Hospital.
