LUTEFISK DINNER SET FOR SATURDAY

The Sons of Norway Desert Troll Lodge plans to host its traditional lutefisk and meatballs dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 1217 Nevada Highway in Boulder City.

BEER FESTIVAL TO RAISE FUNDS FOR NEW VISTA COMMUNITY

The Village Lake Las Vegas plans to host the Winter Brew’s Best Hand-Crafted Beer Festival from 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 12, featuring more than 50 beers for sampling from local and regional breweries. Last year’s participants included Boulder Dam Brewing, Gordon Biersch, Stone Brewing Co., Tenaya Creek, Joseph James and Nevada Beverage.

The event will benefit New Vista Community.
