The nonprofit Nathan Adelson Hospice plans to host its 13th annual Wine and Food Tasting Extravaganza from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 at Gaudin Motor Co., 7200 W. Sahara Ave.

ISLANDS FINE BURGERS ANNOUNCES FOOTBALL SEASON SPECIALS

Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks, 10810 W. Charleston Blvd., is offering extended happy hour specials in the bar Monday through Thursday during NFL games.

LES KINCAID TO CONTINUE WINE AND COOKING CLASSES

Les Kincaid, host of the radio wine show "Wines Du Jour," plans to host a Taste of Wines class from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 17 at Total Wine & More, 501 N. Stephanie St. in Henderson.

Learn about sensory evaluation, types of wines and grapes, ordering wine and food/wine matching. Students must be 21 or older. The cost is $225 per person for all six sessions.

A class on vegetarian entrees is scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Ferguson Bath & Kitchen Gallery, 4175 S. Grand Canyon Drive, No. 109. The cost is $39 per person.

CASK TASTING SET AT FREAKIN FROG

BEVERAGE BLOWOUT SET FOR OCT. 8 AT PLAZA

Motley Brews and Ballast Point Brewing Co. plan to host the Downtown Brew Festival from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Clark County Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

More than 40 local and regional breweries will feature more than 150 craft beers for tasting.

Easter Seals Nevada plans to host its second annual Cheers to Chocolate event with wine and chocolate tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20 at Tivoli Village, 302 S. Rampart Blvd.
