Clark County Parks and Recreation plans to host the first Sunset Parked Food Truck event from noon to 9 p.m. Nov. 16 at Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road.

More than 30 food trucks are planned, including hot dogs, sandwiches, tacos, lobster, frozen yogurt, cupcakes and pineapple whip. Classic cars and children’s activities also are planned, along with live music by Crash Kings, The Remedies, Lady Reiko, Sin City Prophets, Fleetwood Nicks, Paper Tigers, Love Vendetta, Ekoh and The Beau Hodges Band.

VINTNER GRILL PLANS THANKSGIVING MENU

Vintner Grill, 10100 W. Charleston Blvd., No. 150, plans to offer a special Thanksgiving menu from 2 to 9 p.m. Nov. 28 featuring four starter options, including butternut squash soup with toasted pumpkin seeds. Entree selections will be traditional turkey dinner with potato puree, Brussels sprouts, herb gravy and cranberries; braised lamb osso bucco with pearled couscous; Mediterranean seabass with baby artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes, potatoes, haricots verts and Kalamata olives; or Vintner Grill’s mesquite grilled flat-iron steak with whole grain mustard, sweet potato frites and preserved lemon aioli. SILVERTON ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER DINING SPECIALS

Twin Creeks Steakhouse at the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, plans to offer a Thanksgiving Day menu from 2 to 7 p.m. Nov. 28 for $39 per person. It is set to feature smoked duck breast salad or roasted butternut squash soup, free range turkey with foie gras stuffing, sage giblet gravy, pureed Yukon Gold potatoes, haricot verts, yams and cranberry pear relish. Dessert will be pumpkin cheesecake or Linzer torte. The regular menu will be available.

The Sundance Grill plans to serve a special Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. featuring soup or salad, entree choices of prime rib or roasted turkey with traditional sides and pumpkin or pecan pie. The cost is $17.95 per person.

Seasons Buffet plans Thanksgiving specials from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $23.99 per person or $19.99 with a Sllverton Rewards Club card. Children 4 to 6 pay half price. Specials are set to include roasted turkey, herb-crusted prime rib, bourbon sweet potato pie and apple and sausage stuffing.

A Harvest Buffet is planned from 4 to 9 p.m. Fridays in November for $19.99 with a card or $21.99 without a card. Selections are set to include herb-crusted prime rib, maple juniper smoked salmon, potatoes gratin and roasted Brussels sprouts. Pyramid Hefeweizen will be $3 per pint.

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, 740 S. The Resort on Mount Charleston, 2275 Kyle Canyon Road, plans to offer Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 28 with seatings at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30 or 7:30 p.m. The buffet is set to include oven-roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham, cranberry sauce, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, holiday pies.

SIXTH ANNUAL CARNIVAL OF CUISINE SET FOR DEC. 14 AT THE VENETIAN AND PALAZZO
