Man killed in accident near Interstate 15
A 30-year-old man was killed in a vehicle crash north of Las Vegas on Friday night.
Las Vegas police said a 2003 Honda CRV was traveling north at a high rate of speed in the 11000 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North, near Interstate 15, when it left the roadway and rolled about 10:31 p.m.
The driver, whose name was not released, was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was the 10th traffic-related fatality in the Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction this year.
