Pedestrian fatally struck in hit-and-run crash
A man was fatally struck by a vehicle that drove off Wednesday night in southeast Las Vegas.
The 50-year-old Las Vegas man was crossing Boulder Highway near East Russell Road around 6:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department.
Witnesses described the vehicle involved as a mid-size silver or light gray SUV.
The man died at the scene and the driver had not been arrested as of Thursday morning.
