A female pedestrian died Thursday after a crash in southeast Las Vegas.

Officers were called at 5:47 p.m. to 4375 Boulder Highway, near East Twain Avenue, after a report of a motorcycle crash, according to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Ken Nogle.

A preliminary crash report from police said a 77-year-old unidentified woman wearing all dark clothing was crossing Boulder Highway outside of a marked crosswalk when the motorcycle hit the woman. The woman hit the ground near the center media while the man driving the motorcycle was ejected. Both were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

The woman was pronounced deceased.

No impairment was suspected by the motorcycle driver. He suffered minor injuries.

The identity of the woman will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office. The death was the ninth traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction.
