Suicide threat closes U.S. Highway 95 near Vegas Drive
The Nevada Highway Patrol closed off U.S. Highway 95 in both directions near Vegas Drive Monday night because a person is threatening suicide.
Trooper Jeremie Elliott said an overpass on Vegas Drive goes across the highway. The incident began about 9:15 p.m. Las Vegas police are handling the negotiations with the person, Elliott said.
