Cosmopolitan gives guests ‘key’ to unlock exclusive Monday night deals

The Cosmopolitan is putting a new twist on the classic rewards program. Instead of swiping a plastic card for exclusive deals and discounts, participants will need to become “keyholders” to unlock special promotions.

Dubbed “Unlock Your Mondays,” the Cosmopolitan describes its new program as “your key to exclusive tastes, cocktails and entertainment all in one place, all on one night.”

Participants can begin unlocking their own adventure when the Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino opens the doors on the new program starting May 30, Cosmopolitan said in a news release.

Once a guest uses the code words “unlock their Mondays” at any of the resort’s participating venues, they will receive a vintage gold key keepsake.

As the Cosmopolitan described it, “they built the playground, now how to play in it is entirely up to you” — in other words, exactly which deals (or how many) you take advantage of each week is completely up to you.

With participating venues ranging from the recently-debuted Beauty & Essex, Marquee and STK Steakhouse — just to name a few — the options for keyholders are somewhat endless.

For instance, flashing your keyholder status at Marquee will unlock deals such as complimentary admission to Marquee Mondays, one-hour open bar for local ladies and the ability to experience Silent Disco in the Library, Marquee’s hidden VIP hideaway, on the first Monday of every month (except holiday weekends).

If movies are more your cup of tea, being a keyholder also grants you and a guest free admission to any of the Cosmopolitan’s Dive-in Movies held at its Boulevard Pool this year.
