It’s cloudy, but Las Vegas shouldn’t see much rain
Metallica most likely won’t ride the lightning tonight.
Dark clouds may look threatening, but the National Weather Service doesn’t expect much rain — much less electricity in the skies — for Metallica fans and others at Rock in Rio on the Strip or anywhere in the rest of the Las Vegas Valley.
Parts of the northwest valley felt a little drizzle early Saturday, but not enough to be measured, meteorologist Chris Stachelski said. By Saturday evening, the chances of rain were mostly gone.
Highs reached 75 degrees — a little cool compared to average temperatures for this time of year. But Sunday should see a return to normal, with a predicted high of 84. Monday will be warmer with a forecast high of 89.
