The Las Vegas Valley may see more rain before an expected clearing, according to the National Weather Service.
The best chance for rain in the valley will be Wednesday night, which will have a 50 percent chance for showers with a low of about 50, meteorologist Ashley Wolf said. Wednesday night may also see isolated wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Rain chances will drop a bit Thursday morning before rising again to 30 percent Thursday afternoon. The valley should be dry by Thursday night, Wolf said.
“Once the sun comes back out it’s kind of fuel for some of these showers,” she said.
The temperatures reached 68 degrees Wednesday, and a high of about 61 is expected Thursday.
Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 69, followed by highs of 71 on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows through Saturday will be in the high 40s to low 50s.
