Clouds lingering over the Las Vegas Valley on Thursday are not expected to bring any rain, the National Weather Service said.
And a warming trend is making conditions feel more like June, with Thursday to heat up to 96 degrees, meteorologist Justin Pullen said.
The valley might feel winds Thursday night, he said. Friday’s high is expected to reach 98 degrees.
There is a chance of rain for higher elevations on Saturday, Pullen said, adding that should be the “last hurrah” for precipitation for a while.
Weather during the weekend should be hot and dry, he said.
