Wednesday was another hot, sunny day in the Las Vegas Valley, with a side of wind.
Temperatures reached 104 degrees at 1:25 p.m., said National Weather Service meteorologist Stan Czyzyk. That’s the average for July 29.
Wind blew at about 15-20 mph and some gusts in the southern valley reached 30 mph, Czyzyk said.
Thursday should see similar conditions and if monsoonal moisture moves in, Czyzyk said, the valley could see rain and thunderstorms on Friday.
Chance of rain on Friday is 20 percent, Czyzyk said.
