First Team
Steven Birch, Basic
The junior finished ninth in the Division I state meet in 17:19. He placed third in the Sunrise Region meet in 17:15.
Gregory Gephart, McQueen
The senior finished fourth in the Division I state meet in 17:05, helping the Lancers to the team title. He placed second in the Northern Region meet in 17:11.
Ammon Jorgensen, Reed
The junior finished eighth in the Division I state meet in 17:16. He placed fifth in 17:30 in the Northern Region meet.
McKennion Melton, Galena
The sophomore finished sixth in the Division I state meet in 17:12. After winning the Sierra League meet, he placed fourth in the Northern Region meet in 17:26.
John Munyan, Douglas
The junior finished third in the Division I state meet in 17:01. He also placed third in the Northern Region meet in 17:19.
Anthony Ocegueda, Reed
The senior finished fifth in the Division I state meet in 17:10. He won the Reed Invitational in 16:37 and placed 11th in the Northern Region meet in 17:45.
Austin Rogers, Green Valley
The senior finished second in the Division I state meet in 16:40. He won the Sunrise Region meet in 16:33, one of eight meets he won during the season.
Leonardo Rubi, Green Valley
The junior finished seventh in the Division I state meet in 17:14. He placed second in 17:07 and helped the Gators to the team title in the Sunrise Region meet.
Samuel Stewart, White Pine
The junior won the Division III state meet in 17:16. He also won the Southern Region meet in 17:39.
Henry Weisberg, McQueen
The junior won the Division I state title, finishing the 3.1-mile race in 16:31 and helped the Lancers to the team title. He also won the Northern Region meet in 16:57.
Chase Wood, Faith Lutheran
The senior won the Division I-A state meet in 16:46. He finished first in 11 races, including the Southern Region meet, which he won in a time of 16:51.
Daniel Ziems, Palo Verde
The junior won the Sunset Region meet in 17:21. He finished 19th in the Division I state meet in 17:45.

Max Boyden, Reno
The senior finished 15th in Division I state meet in 17:35. He placed 10th in the Northern Region meet in 17:40.
Cole Campbell, Spring Creek
The junior finished second in the Division I-A state meet in 17:22. He won the Northern Region meet in 17:25.
Robert Daseler, Bishop Gorman
The senior finished 13th in the Division I state meet in 17:33. He also finished fourth in the Sunset Region meet in 17:33.
Cam Goldstone, North Tahoe
The senior finished second in 17:18 in the Division III state meet and helped the Lakers win the team title. He finished third in the Northern Region meet in 18:16.
Matthew Hakin, Spanish Springs
The sophomore finished 14th in the Division I state meet in 17:34. He was sixth in the High Desert League meet.
Daniel Horner, Spanish Springs
The freshman finished 11th in the Division I state meet in 17:24. He was fifth in both the High Desert Conference meet and the Reed Invitational.
Dillon Lemons, South Tahoe
The senior finished sixth in the Division I-A state meet in 17:37. He was fourth in the Northern Region meet in 17:53.
Kaleb Morris, Douglas
The senior took 12th in the Division I state meet in 17:28. He placed eighth in the Northern Region meet in 17:31.
Bryce Odegard, Pahrump Valley
The sophomore finished fourth in the Division I-A state meet in 17:34. The runner-up in the Southern Region meet in 17:49, he won six races during the season.
Andrew Ribeiro, Spanish Springs
The sophomore finished 10th in the Division I state meet in 17:22. He placed seventh in the Northern Region meet in 17:30.
Timothy Rose, Elko
The senior finished fifth in the Division I-A state meet in 17:37. He placed third in the Northern Region meet in 17:47.
Tristen Thomson, Churchill County
The senior finished third in the Division I-A state meet in 17:32. He finished second in the Northern Region meet in 17:44.

Coach of the Year
Ed Parise, McQueen
Parise led the Lancers to their second straight Division I state title despite losing four seniors who ran in the 2014 state meet. McQueen’s team score of 52 was 11 points better than second-place Spanish Springs.
