FLAG FOOTBALL: Bauer helps Diamondbacks nip Centennial
Kylee Bauer completed 12 of 20 passes for 141 yards, including a touchdown pass to Aniyah Reed to help Desert Oasis’ flag football team to a 14-12 win over visiting Centennial on Wednesday.
Izriah Hodson rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on nine carries for the Diamondbacks, who also stopped Centennial for a safety.
Arbor View 46, Cimarron-Memorial 45 — At Cimarron, the Aggies edged the Spartans in double overtime.
Tiarra Del Rosario went 20-for-36 for 236 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 64 yards on seven carries to lead Cimarron.
Logan DeLong caught 11 passes for 128 yards and three TDs and threw a touchdown pass, and Rosie Del Rosario had 10 carries for 59 yards and two scores for the Spartans, who also got receiving TDs from DeShan Cambritt and Alyssa Karpinski.
Bonanza 34, Clark 30 — At Bonanza, Brianna Hernandez-Silva rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 102 yards and three TDs to power the Bengals by the Chargers.
Alicia Kestner caught two scores, and Brittney Calhoun added a TD catch for Bonanza, which led 20-18 at halftime.
Messeret Ibrahmi threw four touchdown passes to lead Clark. Keyani Irving caught two TD passes and rushed for a score, and teammate Jasmine Brooks had two TD catches for the Chargers.
Foothill 21, Green Valley 6 — At Green Valley, Jadyn McArthur completed 17 of 23 passes for 151 yards and a TD and added 48 yards rushing and a score to lead the Falcons by the Gators.
Marissa Spatafore had seven carries for 39 yards and a TD, and Sydney Babakitis caught three passes for 32 yards and a score for Foothill, which led 14-0 at halftime.
Bella Cipili tossed a touchdown pass to Alyson Thorne for Green Valley.
Eldorado 34, Rancho 14 — At Eldorado, MohnAi Roberson rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Sundevils over the Rams.
Roberson had TD runs of 62 and 56 yards for Eldorado, which led 14-6 at halftime.
Liberty 26, Silverado 14 — At Silverado, the Patriots topped the Skyhawks.
Kui’Puha Untalan threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score for Silverado.
Coronado 24, Basic 6 — At Basic, the Cougars topped the Wolves.
Las Vegas vs. Valley — At Valley, the game was suspended due to malfunctioning lights two minutes into the second half with the teams tied 6-6. A completion date was not announced.
