FLAG FOOTBALL: Canfield, Bulldogs blank the Bengals

Zshalyn Canfield tossed four touchdown passes and ran for a score Wednesday to lead Centennial’s flag football team to a 35-0 win over host Bonanza.

Canfield completed 14 of 23 passes for 206 yards, hitting Tiana Bonds on three scoring strikes and tossing a TD pass to Taylor Reeves. Canfield also ran for 36 yards on three carries.

Bonanza’s Cheyenne Crouch rushed for 129 yards to finish the regular season with 2,007.

Boulder City 13, Foothill 12 — At Foothill, Jeanne Carmell’s 8-yard touchdown pass to Kinsey Smyth and 1-point conversion pass to Jollene Gosselin in the third overtime lifted the Eagles by the Falcons.

Carmell completed 12 of 26 passes for 154 yards. She also tossed a TD pass to Mackenzie Pluta.

Foothill’s Sam Fennell completed 20 of 37 passes for 208 yards and ran for a touchdown. Emily Russell caught Fennell’s scoring pass.

Basic 19, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, Katie Frost tossed two touchdown passes as the Wolves shut out the Cougars.

Kim Austin and Destinie Flores each hauled in a TD reception for Basic, which got a rushing score from Nicole Dirilo.

Eldorado 31, Tech 6 — At Eldorado, Shelby Johnson rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Sundevils by the Roadrunners.

Angela Stoneback added 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns for Eldorado.

Desert Oasis 34, Mojave 6 — At Desert Oasis, Kayla Saucedo rushed for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass as the Diamondbacks routed the Rattlers.

Saucedo rushed for 133 yards on 13 carries and caught six passes for 113 yards.

Kylee Bauer completed 19 of 30 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns for Desert Oasis. Ariel Blockovich and Sydni Aldan each hauled in a TD pass for the Diamondbacks.

Cimarron-Memorial 16, Clark 12 — At Cimarron, Jaymee Luke hit Logan DeLong with a 19-yard TD pass with 25 seconds remaining to lift the Spartans over the Chargers.

Clark led 12-7 with less than two minutes to go, but Briana Brevard-Mays had a sack for a safety to make it 12-9, and the Spartans then drove down the field for the go-ahead score.

Luke was 10-for-17 passing for 152 yards, and also had 23 carries for 154 yards.

DeLong had nine catches for 101 yards.

Legacy 26, Western 13 — At Legacy, Shadell Purdy passed for 111 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score to lead the Longhorns over the Warriors.

Avi’Ana Shelton added 62 rushing yards and one TD, and Fretiesh Marcell had eight tackles for Legacy.
