FLAG FOOTBALL: Drummond scores three TDs as Mountain Lions blank Trailblazers

Anye Drummond rushed for 198 yards and three touchdowns Thursday as Sierra Vista’s flag football team posted a 32-0 win at Durango.

Neomi Vazquez threw for 212 yards, including two touchdown passes to Vladana Lazic. Lazic had 158 receiving yards for the Mountain Lions.

Rancho 41, Sunrise Mountain 6 — At Sunrise Mountain, Chanel Eliason threw four touchdown passes to lead the Rams by the Miners.

Eliason threw scoring strikes of 40 and 20 yards to Sharisse Nagatori, a 20-yard TD pass to Asia Sinsarady-Diego and an 8-yard TD completion to Megan Sloan.

Divyne Camberos added a 10-yard TD run for Rancho.

Olga Linares returned an interception for a touchdown for Sunrise Mountain.

Arbor View 24, Spring Valley 12 — At Arbor View, Haley Nibarger caught two touchdown passes and returned one of her two interceptions for a touchdown to lead the Aggies by the Grizzlies.

Mia D’Arienzo had 218 rushing yards for Arbor View.

Boulder City 27, Chaparral 6 — At Chaparral, Jeanne Carmell threw for 165 yards and three touchdown passes as the Eagles routed the Cowboys.

Kinsey Smyth had five catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns for Boulder City, which also got four receptions, 85 yards and a TD from Cameron Kanaley.

Talia Solomona caught a TD pass from Deanna Mari for Chaparral.

Valley 32, Canyon Springs 6 — At Canyon Springs, the Vikings downed the Pioneers.

Sydney Morris had 36 yards and touchdown on four carries, and Arielle Strong added 54 yards on eight carries for Canyon Springs.

Silverado 18, Green Valley 12 — At Green Valley, the Skyhawks scored early in the second half to defeat the Gators.

Adelia Sigala and Kaela Green each had a rushing touchdown for Green Valley, which led 13-12 at the half.
