FLAG FOOTBALL: Saucedo helps Diamondbacks down Bulldogs

Kayla Saucedo returned an interception for a touchdown in the first half and tacked on a rushing touchdown in the second half Thursday to lead Desert Oasis’ flag football team to a 13-6 home win over Virgin Valley.

Saucedo had 48 yards on 13 carries and caught six passes for 64 yards. She returned the interception 44 yards for the first-half score.

Kylee Bauer was 16 of 29 passing for 172 yards for the Diamondbacks.

Eldorado 12, Liberty 7 — At Eldorado, Keelyn Pacheco rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on eight carries to lift the Sundevils to a win over the Patriots.

Shelby Johnson added 47 yards and a TD on the ground for Eldorado, which got an interception from Christina Gewerth to end Liberty’s final drive.

Basic 20, Chaparral 0 — At Basic, Nicole Mullins had a rushing touchdown and a receiving TD to lift the Wolves over the Cowboys.

Katie Frost threw the Wolves’ TD pass, and Nicole Dirilo ran in another score for Basic, which posted its second consecutive shutout.

Bonanza 12, Clark 6 — At Bonanza, Cheyenne Crouch’s touchdown run with eight minutes to go lifted the Bengals by the Chargers.

Brianna Hernandez tossed a touchdown pass to Brittney Calhoun for Bonanza.

Centennial 31, Mojave 0 — At Centennial, Zshalyn Canfield threw four touchdown passes and ran for a score as the Bulldogs blanked the Rattlers.

Canfield completed 11 of 26 passes for 262 yards and had 56 yards on four carries.

Tiana Bonds caught four passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns, and Talie Bonds hauled in a 57-yard TD pass for Centennial, which also got a TD reception from Brittany Karst.

Cimarron-Memorial 19, Western 13 — At Cimarron, Jaymee Luke threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns to guide the Spartans to victory over the Warriors.

Logan DeLong had 10 catches for 139 yards and two TDs, including a 28-yard score on fourth-and-goal with three minutes left in the game for Cimarron.

DeShaun Cambrit added 54 yards receiving and a score for the Spartans.

Boulder City 13, Del Sol 6 — At Del Sol, Jeanne Carmell passed for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Eagles over the Dragons in overtime.

Carmell was 11-for-22 passing for 181 yards. She added 106 yards rushing on 14 carries, and an interception on defense.

Kinsey Smyth caught seven passes for 101 yards and a TD for Boulder City, which also got eight tackles and three sacks from Paige Buettner.
