FLAG FOOTBALL: Spartans top Bulldogs to clinch Northwest’s No. 1 seed
Jaymee Luke ran for three touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes Tuesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s flag football team clinch the Northwest League’s No. 1 seed for the postseason with a 46-29 home win over Centennial.
Luke completed 16 of 19 passes for 145 yards and rushed for 127 yards on 13 carries for the Spartans.
Rosie Del Rosario also ran for a score, and Logan DeLong and Briana Callejo hauled in scoring passes for Cimarron.
Foothill 7, Green Valley 6 — At Foothill, Marissa Brackett rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on eight carries to lift the Falcons by the Gators.
Adelia Sigala tossed a TD pass to Jinger Meuir for Green Valley’s lone score.
Desert Oasis 26, Arbor View 6 — At Desert Oasis, Kylee Bauer threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score to lead the Diamondbacks by the Aggies.
Bauer completed 15 of 25 passes for 220 yards. Cassie Chesler caught two TD passes, and Ariel Blockovich hauled in one scoring pass for Desert Oasis.
Boulder City 18, Basic 7 — At Basic, the Eagles downed the Wolves.
Annalyse Gonzales threw a touchdown pass to Alexandria Kelly for Basic.
Rancho 25, Tech 20 — At Green Valley, the Rams downed the Roadrunners.
Katy Orellano rushed for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to Avery Rayos for Tech, which got a rushing TD from Rebeca Rivera.
Bonanza 33, Clark 0 — At Bonanza, Brianna Hernandez rushed for 100 yards and four touchdowns as the Bengals blanked the Chargers.
Marchella Marconi added a rushing touchdown for Bonanza, which raced out to a 27-0 halftime lead.
Virgin Valley 20, Mojave 13 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs topped the Rattlers.
