Roundup: Tiarra Del Rosario rallies Cimarron past Durango

Tiarra Del Rosario completed 14 of 21 passes for 245 yards and five touchdowns to help Cimarron-Memorial’s flag football overcome an eight-point deficit and rally for a 31-26 home win over Durango on Tuesday afternoon.

Del Rosario added 53 yards rushing for the Spartans, who trailed 14-6 in the first half.

Maya Bethea hauled in eight catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and Samantha Silva caught three passes for 73 yards and two scores for Cimarron, which also got a touchdown catch from Genesis Nickerson.

Gabriela Corchado caught three touchdowns, and Marina Bacon ran in a touchdown for Durango.

Virgin Valley 21, Legacy 7 — At Legacy, Kallie Graves had 145 total yards of offense and two touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs past the Longhorns.

Katie Zuniga had eight carries for 65 yards and a touchdown, and Madison Cheney caught a TD for Virgin Valley, which led 14-0 at halftime.

Alannah Subira caught a 15-yard touchdown from Jalyn Joule to lead Legacy.

Coronado 48, Mojave 8 — At Mojave, Caitlin Shannon completed 10 of 16 passes for 195 yards and five touchdowns and ran for a score to power the Cougars to a victory over the Rattlers.

Shannon threw touchdown passes to Erin Shannon, Jensen Boman, Paige Sinicki, Sydnee Hansen and Reagan Raimer for the Cougars, who accumulated 415 yards of total offense and led 20-0 at halftime.

Amanda Burt had 13 carries for 158 yards and a touchdown, and Shawna Slater, Lexie Potts and Brenna Heenan each had an interception for Coronado.

Shadow Ridge 32, Basic 19 — At Shadow Ridge, Jordan Ford ran for 156 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries to help the Mustangs take down the Wolves.

Sarah Sanchez had a 20-yard touchdown catch, and Dayvian Diaz made eight tackles for Shadow Ridge, which led 19-12 at halftime.

Green Valley 52, Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Isabel Madrid returned three interceptions for touchdowns to help the Gators rout the Vikings.

Madrid had returns of 36, 47, and 45 yards for Green Valley, which led 27-0 at halftime.

Theresa Caruso ran for 83 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries, and Jennifer Haberstock was 7-for-8 passing for 82 yards and two scores for the Gators.

Clark 13, Chaparral 12 — At Chaparral, the Chargers stormed to a 13-0 halftime lead before holding off the Cowboys.

Chaparral’s Vanessa Sanchez caught a 25-yard touchdown, and teammate Pretty Seui had a 3-yard touchdown run.

Sisilia Taumoefolau led the defense with 13 tackles.

Bonanza 24, Del Sol 12 — At Del Sol, Cindylou Rasiang completed 12 of 26 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns to help the Bengals run away from the Dragons.

Alicia Kestner had eight catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns, and Shayne Dunn had two catches for 93 yards and a touchdown for Bonanza, which also got a pick-six from Briceli Concepcion.

Arianna Reifer and Jamie Mendez each had touchdown receptions for Del Sol.
