Dragons survive late Rancho surge
Del Sol (3-1) rushed for 370 yards and survived a late surge to defeat host Rancho 41-39 on Friday.
Rancho (1-3) outscored Del Sol 21-6 in the fourth quarter, but could not recover an onside kick with 11.8 seconds remaining.
Earnest Hall ran for 156 yards and three touchdowns for the Dragons. Derek Eamon added 128 rushing yards and one touchdown.
James Cammack, who played the final quarter with a leg injury, led the Rams by passing for 370 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for a score.
