Sewell rushes for 219 yards to lead Falcons
Algernon Sewell rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns to lead Foothill (2-1) to a 35-6 road win over Mojave on Friday.
Sewell’s back-to-back touchdowns in the third quarter, including a 71-yarder, broke the game open.
Quarterback Aaron Dupin threw for a touchdown and ran for a score for Foothill, which outgained Mojave 406 yards to 122.
Quarterback Mike Montgomery scored the Rattlers’ only TD, on a 2-yard run, and accounted for all of their yards, passing for 54 and running for 68. He also had an interception on defense.
