Top players: SS Edarian Williams (Sr.), UTL/P Jimmy Gamboa (Sr.), OF Anthony Guzman (Sr.), 1B Layton Walls (Sr.), OF Joey Walls (Sr.)

Outlook: The Rams bring back 17 lettermen after advancing to the Class 4A state tournament last year.

Gamboa (.457, 25 RBIs, 11 doubles; 2-1, 3.11 ERA, 43 strikeouts in 36 innings) was a second-team all-state selection last year.

He’ll have plenty of help from Williams (.411, 24 RBIs), Guzman (.353, 11 doubles, 19 RBIs); Layton Walls (.373, 14 RBIs; 4-3, 3.00 ERA) and Joey Walls (.319, 20 RBIs).

“We are all in this year,” Llamas said.
