Bulls drop Connie Mack regional opener
The Southern Nevada Bulls of Arbor View High managed just three hits Wednesday in an 8-0 loss to the AZ Firebirds at the Connie Mack Western Regional baseball tournament in Bellevue, Wash.
Gabe Gonzalez and Nick Quintana each had a double for the Bulls, who trailed 4-0 before committing three errors the Firebirds’ four-run seventh inning.
The Bulls play Wilkinson (Wash.) in an elimination game at 2 p.m. Thursday.
