Faith Lutheran wins Central States tourney
Devin Chavez had a home run and drove in five runs on Sunday to lead Faith Lutheran to a 13-3 win over LaMoure (N.D.) in the championship game of the Central States Division II Tournament in Milbank, S.D.
Faith Lutheran defeated Ripon (Wis.) 8-5 earlier in the day to reach the championship game. The Crusaders went 5-1 in the tournament to finish the season with a 23-6 record.
