Locals shut out on first day of baseball draft
No area baseball players were selected on the opening day of the Major League Baseball draft on Tuesday.
Three rounds were completed on Tuesday. The draft continues at 9 a.m. Wednesday and will conclude on Thursday.
Bishop Gorman’s Jeff Malm and Durango’s Danny Reynolds are the most likely players to be selected on Wednesday.
