ROUNDUP: Gaels belt eight homers in road rout
Bishop Gorman bashed eight home runs Monday on the way to a 35-0 road win over Western.
Johnny Field and Joey Gallo each had two homers for the Gaels, who scored 11 runs in the first inning and nine in the second.
Field drove in six runs and Gallo added five.
Wesley Denzler finished 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs, and Cory Welch, Erik Van Meetren and Kenny Meimerstorf each added a homer for Gorman.
Seven Gaels had three hits.
Eldorado 13, Clark 8 — At Eldorado, Eric Larsen went 3-for-4 with two triples and two runs as the Sundevils rallied from deficits of 5-0 and 7-3 to overcome Clark.
Isaiah Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Sammy Gonzales and Ryan Jarzombek each went 2-for-4 for Eldorado. Greg McKinney was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs for the Chargers.
Laughlin 13, Henderson International 3 — At Laughlin, Jorgen Davidson threw five shutout innings to help the Cougars cruise past the Wolverines.
Davidson, Andre Prosise, Zach Sesulka and Jimmy Minniear each had two hits for Laughlin, which ended the game with a six-run sixth inning.
Cole Fouch had two hits for Henderson International.
