ROUNDUP: Godman’s streak continues as Aggies down Mustangs

Godman extended his hitting streak to a school-record 29 games.

Nate Stepna was 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, two runs and two RBIs, and Ryan Chen went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI for the Aggies.

Evan McMahan tossed a four-hitter with seven strikeouts for Arbor View, which got a home run from Zach Quintana.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Josh Nuernberg fired a three-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead the Spartans past the Longhorns.

Dominic Calabria was 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run, and Nuernberg also went 2-for-4 with a double.

Centennial 21, Mojave 1 — At Centennial, Will Loucks spun a five-inning two-hitter with eight strikeouts and one walk, and the Bulldogs outhit the Rattlers 18-2 en route to an easy win.

Mike Yenkowski homered, and Tanner Gehring supplied a triple, three RBIs and three runs for Centennial.

Mike Rosenkrantz went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs for the Bulldogs, who got two hits, two RBIs and two runs from Keith Krueger.

Palo Verde 17, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Matt Dyson and Dylan Dunseath combined to toss a five-inning two-hitter as the Panthers routed the Desert Shields.

Chris Hopballe tripled, homered and drove in four runs, and Lukas Rodriguez went 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored for Palo Verde, which got a double, a triple, two RBIs and three runs from Dunseath.

Andy Dalaimo added an inside-the-park home run for the Panthers.

Durango 16, Clark 2 — At Clark, Scott Martinez went 2-for-2 with two home runs and five RBIs as the Trailblazers routed the Chargers in five innings

Anthony Martine went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for Durango, which got a home run from Jacob Dismont and two doubles from Bobby Wright.

Western 15, Pahrump Valley 5 — At Western, winning pitcher Josh Yocum struck out 10 and belted an RBI double as the Warriors downed the Trojans in six innings.

Daniel Buzzard supplied a two-run triple that started Western’s game-ending seven-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Anthony Chojnacki went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs for Western.

Spencer Mestas doubled twice and drove in two runs to lead the Trojans.

Moapa Valley 4, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Overton, Jared Repp threw a three-hitter to lead the Pirates past the Miners.

Repp struck out five and walked two. Shane Terril drove in two runs for Moapa Valley.

Spring Valley 6, Boulder City 4 — At Spring Valley, Dylan Drachler was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a run and an RBI to help the Grizzlies top the Eagles.

Anthony Novak went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI, and Cody Smith added two singles for Spring Valley.

Corbett Fleming was 2-for-4 with a run for Boulder City.

Mountain View 28, Lake Mead 9 — At River Mountain Park, winning pitcher Trevor Van Kempen went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and five RBIs to lead the Saints by the Eagles.

Korey Wood was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for Mountain View, which led 14-0 after two innings.

Austin Sorrels doubled for Lake Mead, which scored seven runs in the fifth.

Pahranagat Valley 21, Indian Springs 3 — At Indian Springs, Chase Hansen doubled and scored twice, and Derek Hansen smacked a triple as the Panthers rolled the Thunderbirds in five innings.

Jeff Jones and winning pitcher Tyler Higbee each supplied a double, and Higbee combined with Kade Wadsworth and Paden Higbee on a two-hitter for Pahranagat Valley.

Xavier Pena doubled twice for Indian Springs.
