ROUNDUP: Rosenkrantz’s homer helps Bulldogs walk off with win

Michael Rosenkrantz hit a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning Monday as Centennial’s baseball team rallied from a 5-3 deficit in the sixth inning to down visiting Faith Lutheran, 9-6.

Ian Ogurek and Will Loucks hit back-to-back home runs as the Bulldogs took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the sixth, but the Crusaders tied the game with a run in the top of the seventh.

Keith Krueger and Brian Bonnell each added three hits for Centennial.

Josh Murtha was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs and David Edson was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Faith Lutheran.  

Clark 8, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Pahrump, Miguel Ruiz fired a five-hitter and struck out three as the Chargers collected their first Southwest League win of the year by topping the Trojans.

Jeremy Erlan was 2-for-3 with a double, and Isaac Velazquez went 2-for-4 with a triple for Clark.

Spring Valley 7, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Dylan Drachler tossed a three-hitter with six strikeouts and went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lift the Grizzlies past the Bengals.

Drew LaComb was 2-for-3 with a double, a run and two RBIs, and Michael Macove went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI for Spring Valley, which also got a solo home run from Cody Foremaster.

Shadow Ridge 19, Cheyenne 7 — At Shadow Ridge, Brandon Johnson went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored as the Mustangs downed the Desert Shields in five innings.

Bradly Liuzza also went 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and two RBIs for Shadow Ridge, which got a home run from Jacob Rooney.

Jerraco Lindsey led Cheyenne, going 3-for-3 with a double, four RBIs and a run scored. Nick Goetz homered and doubled for the Desert Shields.

Legacy 12, Mojave 2 — At Legacy, Josh Torres went 2-for-4 with a run scored as the Longhorns topped the Rattlers in five innings.

David Rowley was 2-for-2 with a double for Mojave.

Sierra Vista 13, Western 3 — At Sierra Vista, Daniel Gonzales went 3-for-3 with two triples and three RBIs to lead the Mountain Lions by the Warriors in six innings.

Connor Klein went 3-for-3 with a double, and Cole Crosby had a pair of doubles for Sierra Vista.

Daniel Carrillo was 2-for-3 for Western.

Bishop Gorman 18, Durango 1 — At Durango, Cody Roper went 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles and two RBIs, and the Gaels used a 14-run second inning to rout the Trailblazers in five innings.

Justin Jones was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, and Johnny Sewald went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs for Gorman.

Joey Gallo went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs, and Kenny Meimerstorf was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Gaels.

Tech 10, Virgin Valley 3 — At Mesquite, Josh West went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to help the Roadrunners cruise past the Bulldogs.

Patrick Camburn was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Tech, which took over by scoring nine runs in the first two innings.

Kasden Felshaw went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead Virgin Valley.

Eldorado 7, Moapa Valley 4 — At Eldorado, Jonathan Rodarte’s grand slam sparked a six-run sixth inning as the Sundevils rallied by the Pirates.

Matt Brown tossed a five-hitter, striking out six and allowing only two earned runs, and Trey Bayliss and Seattle Stoneback each had two hits for Eldorado.

Jake Repp was 3-for-4 with two runs scored for Moapa Valley.

Agassi Prep 25, Trinity 12 — At Rivera Park, Jamaal Holmes went 5-for-5 with two doubles to help the Stars topple the Thunder for their first win in two years.

Antonio Citi went 4-for-4 with a triple and two doubles to help Agassi Prep, and teammate Marquis Hardwick belted a home run.
