ROUNDUP: Tolliver’s single completes comeback for Jaguars

Cody Tolliver singled home Iquan Corsey with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning Thursday as Desert Pines’ baseball team rallied for a 5-4 home win over Valley.

The Jaguars scored a run in the sixth to pull within 4-3, and Camilo Murillo led off the seventh with a triple.

Corsey followed with an RBI single to tie the game. He then stole second and advanced to third on an error before scoring on Tolliver’s hit.

Juan Deolarte went 4-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for the Vikings.

Basic 8, Liberty 3 — At Basic, winning pitcher Ryan Weldon was 2-for-3 with three RBIs to lead the Wolves past the Patriots.

Dean Gettman was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI, and teammate Ryan Blatnik was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for Basic.

Rancho 9, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Rancho, Dylan Pletsch went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs as the Rams blanked the Miners.

Jose Verdugo and Pletsch combined on a four-hitter, with Pletsch striking out six in three innings of relief.

Silverado 11, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Michael Meyers was 3-for-4 with two home runs, a triple, three runs and four RBIs as the Skyhawks blanked the Dragons in five innings.

Bryan Faucher tossed a one-hitter, striking out 11 and walking one, to earn the win.

Eldorado 14, Canyon Springs 4 — At Eldorado, Jonathan Rodarte was 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run, and the Sundevils scored 12 runs in the final two innings to pull away from the Pioneers for a six-inning victory.

Carlos Dozal was 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run for Canyon Springs.

Las Vegas 25, Chaparral 3 — At Las Vegas, Charlie Shavers had four hits, including a triple and a double, and Nolan Cassell was 3-for-3 with four runs as the Wildcats blitzed the Cowboys in five innings.

Rickey Ferreira had three hits, including a double, and Dillon Dove tripled and doubled for Las Vegas.

Zach Harman had two hits, including a solo home run, for Chaparral.

Foothill 12, Tech 1 — At Foothill, Anthony Lopez was 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Bligh Madris went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs as the Falcons routed the Roadrunners in five innings.

Janson Neff also homered for Foothill.

Tech’s Abel Martinez was 1-for-2 with a triple.

Legacy 12, Moapa Valley 2 — At Legacy, Alex Wenzel went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and two RBIs as the Longhorns beat the Pirates in six innings.

Luke Baumgarte was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs for Legacy.
