Outlook: The Eagles struggled last season, but are more experienced and in better position to compete this season.
“We will have seven seniors, and six of those athletes know the system well,” Newton said. “It will be another exciting year in the Division III Southern League. The team on top is tough to beat, but with everyone else, it’s anyone’s game.
“It’s tough to predict who will fill the remaining three playoff spots. I liken it to the wild, wild West.”
