Outlook: Graduation took away the bulk of last year’s squad that won the Class 2A Southern League playoff title and advanced to the state title game.

“We lost a lot of seniors and starters who had a great impact on our program,” McGinnis said.

Hagan and Elharrar return to lead a group that hopes to contend for a playoff berth.

“We may lack experience, but we have a hard-working and unselfish group that are up for the challenge this year,” McGinnis said.
