BOYS BASKETBALL: Koehler’s put-back gives Coronado overtime win over Eldorado

Kennedy Koehler scored 18 points, including a rebound basket in the final seconds of overtime to lift Coronado’s boys basketball team  to a 54-52 road win over Eldorado on Wednesday.

Jake DesJardins had 12 points for the Cougars, who got a deep 3-pointer from Trey Hurlburt at the regulation buzzer to force the extra period.

Kemo Bell scored 13 points to lead the Sundevils, and teammate Shane Barnes had 10 points.

Basic 66, Rancho 59 — At Basic, Cordale Cummings had 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals to help the Wolves rally by the Rams.

Christopher Dominguez scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half for Basic, which trailed 46-44 after three quarters. Kerry Keyes added 13 points for the Wolves.

Chrys Jackson had 21 points to lead Rancho. Lamont Traylor added 17 points, and Tommy Robertson scored 11 for the Rams.

Las Vegas 56, Valley 49 — At Las Vegas, Marquise Raybon had 25 points and 11 rebounds as the Wildcats rallied by the Vikings.

Las Vegas trailed 16-7 after one quarter, but Raybon scored 18 points in the middle quarters to pull the Wildcats within 39-36 entering the fourth quarter. Las Vegas went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line in the fourth to complete the comeback.

Donovan Joyner added 15 points for the Wildcats.

Zach Nichols led Valley with 13 points, and teammate John King had 12 points.

Silverado 59, Canyon Springs 45 — At Canyon Springs, Matthew Arnold scored 12 points as the Skyhawks beat the Pioneers.

Jordan Waugh had 11 points, and Tyric Johnson and Kris Coe each had 10 points each for Silverado.

Canyon Springs’ Kevin Legardy led all scorers with 18 points.

Foothill 76, Green Valley 51 — At Green Valley, Mauricio Smith scored 15 points as the Falcons rolled past the Gators.

Jonny Rolle and Marvin Coleman each added 12 points for Foothill, which won its fourth consecutive Southeast League game after an 0-4 start.

Jeron Bodin had 10 points for the Falcons, who led 21-11 after one quarter.

Xavier Jarvis had 19 points to pace Green Valley.

Cimarron-Memorial 76, Shadow Ridge 67 — At Shadow Ridge, Demarco Alexander scored 15 points to lead five double-digit scorers and help the Spartans defeat the Mustangs.

Jeremiah Broussard and Keiron Hatchett each added 14 points, and teammates Keenan Carter and KeAnte Huddleston supplied 12 points apiece for Cimarron. The Spartans outscored Shadow Ridge 43-25 over the middle quarters.

Jerell Springer scored 21 points to lead Shadow Ridge. James Fuller had 18 points, and Isaiah Williams scored 17 for the Mustangs.

Arbor View 60, Bonanza 50 — At Arbor View, Jesse Vogel scored 21 points, and Jarrod Burks tallied 17 points and seven rebounds as the Aggies topped the Bengals.

Rashaad Thomas grabbed 10 rebounds for Arbor View, which led 30-27 at halftime.

Jamal Logan had 19 points for Bonanza, and Davian Jordan scored 16 for the Bengals.

Adelson School 52, Indian Springs 22 — At Adelson School, Jake Buchman scored 18 points as the Lions defeated the Thunderbirds.

Jalen Pitts and Miles Hagen each added eight points for Adelson School, which bolted to a 26-5 first-quarter lead.

Donald Watkins had six points for Indian Springs.
