BOYS BASKETBALL: Vogel, Aggies edge Cimarron

Jesse Vogel scored 20 points, and Arbor View’s boys basketball team edged visiting Cimarron-Memorial 63-61 on Thursday.

Comillion Smith added 13 points, and Jarrod Burks scored 12 for the Aggies, who got two free throws from Vogel to push the lead to 63-59 before allowing a late layup for the final margin.

Elijah Coleman led Cimarron with 16 points. Jeremiah Broussard added 13 points, and KeAnte Huddleston and Keiron Hatchett each scored 11 for the Spartans.

Silverado 63, Las Vegas 60 — At Las Vegas, Errol Newman scored 17 points to lead five double-figure scorers as the Skyhawks edged the Wildcats.

Donovan Joyner had 15 points, and Matthew Arnold, Tyric Johnson and Kris Coe each scored 14 points for Silverado, which led 49-37 after three quarters.

Las Vegas’ Marquise Raybon scored 21 points, and Donovan Joyner added 15 points for the Wildcats.

Eldorado 63, Foothill 57 — At Eldorado, Carmonte Jones scored 23 points to lead the Sundevils past the Falcons.

Dyllan Kounovsky had 12 points, Shane Barnes added 11 points, and Carl Crayon scored 10 for Eldorado.

The Sundevils, who started were in the bonus early in the third quarter, connected on 20 of 25 free throws.

Jace Roquemore scored 14 points to lead Foothill. Mauricio Smith and Jonny Rolle each added 10 points for the Falcons.

Green Valley 55, Rancho 44 — At Green Valley, Xavier Jarvis scored 23 points to lead the Gators past the Rams.

Ryan Trejo added 16 points for Green Valley.

Chrys Jackson led Rancho with 17 points.

Canyon Springs 63, Liberty 44 — At Canyon Springs, Kevin Legardy scored 22 points to spark the Pioneers to victory over the Patriots.

Zaahid Muhammad added 12 points for Canyon Springs, which led 33-14 at the half.

Dyllan Robinson paced Liberty with 14 points.

Coronado 69, Basic 46 — At Basic, Jake DesJardins scored 23 points to lift the Cougars over the Wolves.

Trey Hurlburt and Kennedy Koehler each added 11 points for Coronado, which led 49-24 after three quarters.

Kerry Keyes led Basic with 12 points, and teammate Kai Traina scored 11.

Desert Oasis 72, Bonanza 48 — At Desert Oasis, Andrue Aguilera hit five of six 3-pointers and had a game-high 17 points to lead the Diamondbacks by the Bengals.

Aamondae Coleman added 16 points and 11 rebounds, Drevin Cannon had 12 points and Jacob Heese scored 10 for Desert Oasis.

The Diamondbacks led 28-21 at halftime before outscoring Bonanza 25-12 in the third quarter.

Davian Jordan led the Bengals with 14 points.

Desert Pines 71, Boulder City 30 — At Desert Pines, Capri Uzan scored 17 points to lead a balanced attack as the Jaguars rolled past the Eagles.

Marckell Grayson had 12 points, and Greg Floyd added 11 points for Desert Pines, which jumped out to a 31-11 halftime lead.

Austin Wishard led Boulder City with 10 points.

Round Mountain 61, Indian Springs 33 — At Indian Springs, Payton Brown had 17 points, and Austin Hayes scored 15 as the Knights routed the Thunderbirds.

Nino Alvarez led Indian Springs with 17 points.

Spring Mountain 46, Pahranagat Valley 44 — At Indian Springs, D’Quan Porchia hit a 15-foot jumper from the right elbow in overtime to lift the Golden Eagles by the Panthers.

Porchia finished with 19 points, and teammate Guy Whitley scored 14 for Spring Mountain, which outscored Pahranagat 3-1 in overtime.

Culen Highbe led Pahranagat with 20 points.
