DIVISION IV: Gomez, Dunlap help Beatty boys down Lions
Carlos Gomez and Chris Dunlap each had 17 points Wednesday to lead Beatty to a 58-45 home win over Adelson School in the Division IV Southern League tournament.
Jake Zamora added 11 points for Beatty (6-7), which plays Pahranagat Valley (11-11) in the semifinals at 8 p.m. Friday at Chaparral.
Sean Perry had 13 points for Adelson (7-9).
Round Mountain won Wednesday’s other Division IV game, topping visiting Tonopah 61-52.
The Knights (22-2) play Spring Mountain (15-7) at 4:40 p.m. Friday at Chaparral.
