Roundup: Lelenn Ross leads Eldorado past Rancho

Lelenn Ross scored nine of his game-high 18 points in the second quarter on Monday to lead Eldorado’s boys basketball team to a 63-40 home victory over Rancho.

Jason Sykes added 10 points for the Sundevils, who outscored the Rams 24-8 in the second quarter to take a 38-21 halftime lead.

James Brown scored 17 to pace Rancho.

Faith Lutheran 72, Innovations International 33 — At Innovations International, Azavier Johnson had 14 points to lead six players in double figures as the Crusaders routed the Ambassadors.

Donavan Jackson had 12 points, and Brevin Walter, D.J. Heckard, Nick Attanasio and Jackson Williams each scored 10 for Faith Lutheran, which led 27-3 after one quarter.

Jeremiah Cottrell led Innovations International with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

SLAM Academy 70, Somerset-Losee 23 — At Somerset-Losee, Jalen Cunningham poured in 27 points as the Bulls routed the Lions.

Water Kirk added 12 points for SLAM Academy, which outscored Somerset-Losee 34-7 in the second quarter to take a 47-11 halftime lead.

Caevee Cruz led the Lions with nine points.
