ROUNDUP: Seibert’s double-double leads Roadrunners in win

Ben Seibert had 22 points, 12 rebounds and four assists as Tech’s boys basketball team rallied for a 54-52 home victory over Sunrise Mountain on Thursday.

The Roadrunners trailed 34-22 in the third quarter before rallying for the win.

Tech’s Michael Johnson added 16 points, and teammate Josh Sarabia had seven steals.

Matt Marshall led the Miners with 21 points, and Fharhaad Zinnamon added 12 points.

Desert Pines 65, Silverado 58 — At Desert Pines, Tyler Larson scored 20 of his 32 points in the first half, helping the Jaguars down the Skyhawks.

Desert Pines led 21-2 after the first quarter and 35-20 at the half.

Dominique Lawrence added 16 points for the Jaguars.

Dwayne Marshall, Josh Parks and David Lutomski each scored 12 points for Silverado.

Canyon Springs 76, Liberty 62 — At Liberty, Adrian Snow had 19 points and Michael Thompson added 18 as the Pioneers defeated the Patriots.

Curtis Stuckey added 10 points for Canyon Springs, which made 23 of 29 free throws.

Liberty’s Tim Rambo had 28 points and six rebounds, and Giovanni Shelton had 18 points and five assists for the Patriots.

Valley 63, Green Valley 44 — At Valley, Khristian Kirkwood had 22 points and 12 rebounds as the Vikings cruised past the Gators.

Christian Kessee added 20 points for Valley.

Keiannte Wilkins scored 12 points and Glenn Bewley had 10 for Green Valley.

Coronado 74, Cimarron-Memorial 63 — At Cimarron, Brandon Glanz had 31 points and 14 rebounds as the Cougars beat the Spartans.

Kyle Johnson and Gaven Holcomb scored 10 points apiece for Coronado.

Kevin Olekaibe led Cimarron with 34 points.

Chaparral 70, Clark 48 — At Chaparral, Jermaine Neal scored 17 points and Zachary Kirschbaum had 16 as the Cowboys cruised past the Chargers.

Andre Wright added 13 points for Chaparral.

Steven Dancy led Clark with 16 points.

Arbor View 77, Del Sol 55 — At Arbor View, Darington Banks made 7 of 10 3-pointers and finished with 25 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two steals as the Aggies downed the Dragons.

Brian Vignaud added 14 points, eight rebounds and two assists for Arbor View, which led 27-6 after the first quarter.

Anthony Trepagnier had 13 points for the Aggies.

Fekadue Gerbretekle scored 17 of his 20 points in the second half to lead Del Sol.
