Wood, Findlay top Melrose
Christian Wood had 19 points, five rebounds and four blocked shots Saturday to lead Findlay Prep to a 55-34 win over Melrose (Tenn.) in Penny Hardaway’s Hoopfest in Memphis.
Nigel Williams-Goss added 12 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Pilots, who held Melrose to 19 points over the final three quarters. Melrose had just four points in the fourth quarter.
Gavin Schilling grabbed 11 rebounds for Findlay.
