Outlook: Muwwakkil averaged 13.7 points per game last season, and is one of three returning starters from a team that last year made its first playoff appearance since 2008.

“With the leadership of our point guard, we look to reach the playoffs again this year,” Hernandez said. “We feel our strength will be defense, and we hope to feed off our outside shooting on the offensive end.”
