GIRLS BASKETBALL: Autumn Westmoreland’s double-double lifts Arbor View over Shadow Ridge
Arbor View’s Autumn Westmoreland scored nine of her game-high 20 points in the fourth quarter to help the Aggies girls basketball team hang on for a 55-52 home win over Shadow Ridge on Friday.
Westmoreland also had 13 rebounds for the Aggies.
Alaysia Reed and Madison Cvijanovich each had 12 points, and Kalli Hosier scored nine for Arbor View, which led 42-41 after three quarters.
Alexa Martins had 16 points, and Lauryn Calo scored 15 for Shadow Ridge.
Virgin Valley 47, Moapa Valley 44 — At Mesquite, Briana Todd had 15 points and 12 rebounds as the Bulldogs rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat the Pirates.
Bernice Fiso added 12 points and eight rebounds, and Emma Barnum had seven points and three assists for Virgin Valley, which trailed 22-21 at halftime and 34-33 after three quarters.
Kinlee Marshall led Moapa Valley with 14 points. Lainey Cornwall and Matilda Thompson each added 10 points for the Pirates.
Cheyenne 43, Rancho 35 — At Rancho, Alaexiah Moore scored 10 of her 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Desert Shields rallied to top the Rams.
Moore hit two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as Cheyenne outscored Rancho 23-11.
Starr Hawkins had 13 points, and teammate Ejanae Coopwood scored 10 for the Desert Shields.
Kyndal Ricks and Sam Pochop each had 10 points for Rancho, which limited Cheyenne to two points in the third quarter.
Green Valley 63, Valley 45 — At Valley, Brooke Haney scored a game-high 33 points as the Gators downed the Vikings.
Samara Miller added 12 points, and Jamaica Lewis scored 10 for Green Valley.
Almond Slayton led Valley with 15 points, and teammate Kiara Brown scored 10.
Faith Lutheran 54, Las Vegas 34 — At Las Vegas, Madison Bocobo scored 14 points to lift the Crusaders over the Wildcats.
Maddy Larson and Kayla Proctor each added 11 points, and Bryanna Neagle scored 10 for Faith Lutheran, which led 24-19 at halftime before pulling away with a 14-5 third quarter.
Teconna Dyer led Las Vegas with 13 points, and teammate Jasmine Perez scored 11.
Bishop Gorman 65, Sierra Vista 25 — At Gorman, Samantha Coleman scored 10 points to lead the Gaels by the Lions.
Skylar Jackson and Caira Young each added nine points for Gorman.
Sierra Vista’s Iymoni Burrell led all scorers with 11 points.
Western 40, Del Sol 26 — At Western, Adrianna Jones scored 18 points to lead the Warriors past the Dragons.
Kiara Rinfrow added 11 points for Western, which outscored Del Sol 17-5 in the second quarter to take control of the game.
Hope Yaw scored eight points to lead the Dragons.
Centennial 63, Cimarron-Memorial 14 — At Cimarron, Jayden Eggleston scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Spartans.
Eboni Walker scored 14 points, while Samantha Thomas added 10 points for the Bulldogs.
Chynna Torrence led Cimarron with six points.
Desert Oasis 66, Durango 14 — At Desert Oasis, Ashlynn Sharp had 15 points and 11 steals to help the Diamondbacks defeat the Trailblazers.
Dajaah Lightfoot added 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Eliyjah Pricebrooks scored 12 for Del Sol.
Durango’s Laila Loring led the team with eight points.
Legacy 64, Palo Verde 26 — At Legacy, Rory Carter scored a team-high 13 points, and the Longhorns routed the Panthers.
Taeha Pankey added 11 points, C’Aree Stevenson had 10 points and Maiah Yearwood scored 10 for Legacy.
Julia Jaakkola led all scorers with 14 points for Palo Verde.
Agassi Prep 65, Calvary Chapel 38 — At Calvary Chapel, Sharmayne Finley led all scorers with 28 points to power the Stars by the Lions.
Denise Parker had 12 points, and Mercedes Harris scored nine for Agassi Prep.
Malia Lee had 12 points, and Kaitlyn Harris scored 11 for Calvary Chapel.
Lincoln County 37, Mountain View 11 — At Panaca, Kailey Kelley had 16 points as the Lynx routed the Saints.
Sadie Soderborg added nine points for Lincoln County, which outscored Mountain View 21-5 in the second half.
Nia Van Kempen scored eight for the Saints.
Laughlin 46, The Meadows 25 — At The Meadows, Teresa Chap scored 15 points to lead the Cougars over the Mustangs.
Amanda Miller had 14 points for the Cougars, who held The Meadows scoreless in the second quarter.
Avery Kokinda’s eight points led the Mustangs.
Pahranagat Valley 46, Round Mountain 37 — At Alamo, the Panthers scored the final 13 points of the game and rallied past the Knights in a battle for first place in the Class 1A Southern League.
Mojave 50, Eldorado 24 — At Eldorado, the Rattlers took down the Sundevils.
Fredonia (Ariz.) 58, Beaver Dam 5 — At Littlefield, Arizona, the Diamondbacks fell to the Hillbillies.
