GIRLS BASKETBALL: Savannah Blanchard-Davis’ free throws lift Mojave over Valley

Savannah Blanchard-Davis was fouled on a 3-point attempt and made all of her shots with 7.2 seconds remaining to lift the Mojave’s girls basketball team to a 36-35 home win over Valley on Monday.
Valley advanced the ball past half court, but wasn’t able to get a shot off before the clock expired.
Blanchard-Davis finished with 15 points, and Kiara Lemon added 12 points for Mojave, which led 28-21 after three quarters.
Jeuzel Pollins led Valley with 15 points.
Innovations International 21, Indian Springs 18 — At Indian Springs, Diedreanina Savage hit a 3-point shot from half court at the buzzer to send the Ambassadors past the Thunderbirds.
Savage led all scorers with 17 points for Innovations International.
Mercedes Heath and Evangelia Tapia had six points apiece for Indian Springs.
Durango 47, Clark 40 — At Durango, Analiyah Matthews scored 13 points to lead the Trailblazers past the Chargers.
Laila Loring added 12 points, and Dar’Juanah Harris had 11 points for Durango, which outscored Clark 19-11 in the third quarter to take control.
Marieka Dent scored 15 points to lead the Chargers. Julie Reid added 10 points for Clark.
Desert Oasis 59, Sierra Vista 21 — At Sierra Vista, Dajaah Lightfoot led all scorers with 16 points to lead the Diamondbacks to victory over the Lions.
Ashlynn Sharp had 14 points, and Mikala Kirby scored 10 for Desert Oasis.
Shania Harper led Sierra Vista with eight points.
Boulder City 47, Chaparral 28 — At Chaparral, Keely Alexander’s 13 points powered the Eagles by the Cowboys.
Julia Worrall and Madison Manns each added seven points for Boulder City, which made 15 of 21 free throws.
Tiara Martin and Tianna Harrison scored six points apiece for Chaparral.
Rancho 25, Eldorado 11 — At Eldorado, Lea Williams led all scorers with nine points as the Rams defeated the Sundevils.
Kyndal Ricks added six points for Rancho, which led 17-6 at halftime.
Kiana Parkes scored six for Eldorado.
Virgin Valley 52, Del Sol 23 — At Del Sol, Bernice Fiso scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Dragons.
Briana Todd added 10 points for Virgin Valley, which started the game on a 21-5 run.
Ana Ozuna scored nine points to lead Del Sol.
Moapa Valley 60, Tech 34 — At Tech, Lainey Cornwall and Kaitlyn Anderson each scored 12 points to lead the Pirates past the Roadrunners.
Kinlee Marshall added 11 points for Moapa Valley, which took control of the game by outscoring Tech 24-10 in the third quarter.
Taylor Muwwakkil scored 14 points to lead the Roadrunners, while Melissa Fuller added 10 points.
Spring Valley 56, Bonanza 14 — At Bonanza, Ella Zanders led the team with 10 points as the Grizzlies defeated the Bengals.
Lynnae Wilds and Alexus Quaadman each added nine points for Spring Valley, which led 23-4 after the first quarter.
Maysan Raleigh had four points for Bonanza.
Agassi Prep 58, Laughlin 20 — At Laughlin, Destiny Rover led all scorers with 21 points as the Stars defeated the Cougars.
Sharmayne Finley added 14 points for Agassi Prep.
Teresa Chapa led Laughlin with 10 points.
GV Christian 37, JV Beaver Dam 23 — At Littlefield, Arizona, the Eagles took down the Diamondbacks’ junior varsity squad.
