GIRLS BASKETBALL: Siaki, Skyhawks hold off Las Vegas

Deja Siaki scored 19 points Monday to help Silverado’s girls basketball team hold on for a 54-51 win over visiting Las Vegas.

Ja’Neal Coleman and Japrea Edwards each added 11 points for the Skyhawks.

Bianca Matlock led the Wildcats with 17 points, and teammate Teconna Dyer had 12 points.

Arbor View 49, Cimarron-Memorial 43 — At Cimarron, Caroline Rivera-Cervantes scored 13 points as the Aggies defeated the Spartans.

Kera Farmer and Autumn Westmoreland each scored eight points for Arbor View, which led 25-23 at halftime before using a 17-7 third-quarter run to take control.

Aaliyah Hanley led Cimarron with 21 points, and teammate Ashli Tyus added 13 points.

Green Valley 73, Rancho 55 — At Rancho, Ellee Barton had 20 points, and the Gators used a 25-11 second-quarter run to down the Rams.

Brooke Haney added 16 points, and Gwen Garcia scored 13 for Green Valley, which made 28 of 44 free throws. Jamaica Lewis had 10 points for the Gators.

Maureen Macato paced Rancho with 17 points, and teammate Aleese Hall scored 15. Rancho was 8-for-12 from the free-throw line.

Coronado 47, Basic 28 — At Coronado, Haley Tyrell had 16 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists as the Cougars eased past the Wolves.

Ksana Montoya added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Coronado, which led 20-17 at the half.

Happy Butler led Basic with 11 points.

Foothill 81, Eldorado 40 — At Foothill, Trinity Betoney had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Falcons ran away from the Sundevils.

Katey Roquemore added 12 points for Foothill, which used a 22-8 second-quarter run to take a 35-16 halftime lead.

DeAsia Walker scored 16 points to lead Eldorado, which got 12 points from Daria Lomasney.

Desert Oasis 58, Bonanza 15 — At Bonanza, Mikala Kirby had 14 points as the Diamondbacks routed the Bengals.

Ashlynn Sharp added nine points for Desert Oasis, which led 43-13 at halftime.

Arkeisha Sankey led Bonanza with five points.

Liberty 65, Canyon Springs 17 — At Liberty, Taylor Turney scored 14 points to lead the Patriots past the Pioneers.

Gabby Doxtator added 13 points, six rebounds and six steals for Liberty, which outscored the Pioneers 24-6 in the first quarter to take control. Celine Quintino added 12 points and six assists for the Patriots.

Alexia Thrower and Jakima Harris each scored five points to lead Canyon Springs.

Lake Mead 41, Adelson School 32 — At Adelson School, Jacea Tillman scored 12 points to lead the Eagles past the Lions.

Lauryn Freund added 11 points for Lake Mead, which outscored Adelson School 27-18 in the second half.

Shoshana Wexler scored 11 points to lead the Lions, who also got 10 points from Brittany Risko.
