ROUNDUP: Pahrump Valley holds Clark to one field goal in rout

Toi Simmons scored 10 of her 16 points in the first quarter Monday, and Pahrump Valley’s girls basketball team held visiting Clark to a field goal in a 59-7 victory.
Alyson Kunzi added 13 points for Pahrump, which led 27-4 at the half and 41-4 after three quarters.
Clark’s lone field goal came in the first quarter.
Sierra Vista 58, Western 46 — At Sierra Vista, Jeanette Jackson scored 18 points, and Teena Baxter and Nicolette Grigsby each added 11 to lead the Mountain Lions past the Warriors.
Daresheoun Lee had 12 points, and Michelle Simon contributed 11 points for Western.
Bishop Gorman 66, Durango 23 — At Durango, Aaryn Ellenberg scored  21 points as the Gaels routed the Trailblazers.
April Rivers scored 11 points, and Zhane Dikes had 10 points for Gorman, which led 31-9 at the half.
Bonanza 68, Spring Valley 48 — At Bonanza, Alice Pitts had 17 points, and Daytril Beals scored 15 to propel the Bengals past the Grizzlies.
Lauren Bugni netted 23 points to lead Spring Valley.
Desert Pines 71, Eldorado 34 — At Eldorado, LaBrea Walker had 32 points to lead the Jaguars in a rout of the Sundevils.
TaQuiyyah Boyles had 12 points for Desert Pines.
Jeronica Jerkins and A.B. Lyons each scored seven for Eldorado.
Las Vegas 58, Sunrise Mountain 40 — At Las Vegas, Shomari Harris led a balanced attack with 14 points as the Wildcats downed Sunrise Mountain.
Elise Marshall had 10 points for the Miners.
Canyon Springs 45, Rancho 37 — At Rancho, Kenosha Wright scored 12 points and the Pioneers held off the Rams.
Shante Thomas added 11 points for Canyon Springs.
Aisha Momodu led Rancho with 11 points.
Needles 67, Calvary Chapel 35 — At Calvary Chapel, Gena Chavira had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Mustangs in a rout of the Lions.
Miranda Brackett and Alex Chandler each scored 15 points, and Kristen Arthur added 12 points for Needles.
Anna Duerden had 13 points for Calvary Chapel.
Indian Springs 50, Adelson School 40 — At Adelson School, Karys Melgoza and Tessa Lounsbury each scored 11 points, and Alexxa Reinke had 10 points to lead the Thunderbirds past the Lions.
Sueleika Blackwell scored 17 points, Alexes Settle added 13 and Elie Steinberg had 10 for Adelson School.
