Outlook: The Saints struggled in 2016 and were unable to get into the win column. To turn their fortunes around, the Saints handed head coaching duties to DeSantis. The former coach at The Meadows led the Mustangs to seven state championships in his 14 seasons.
DeSantis said Mountain View is still getting acclimated to having a new coach.
“We’re a little behind the eight ball,” DeSantis said. “New system, stuff like that. Work ethic, them learning what to expect.”
