Outlook: Spring Mountain shocked Nevada football with its victory over Pahranagat Valley in the Class 1A state championship game last fall.

But most of the personnel from last year’s team has moved on, and head coach Masden will have to retool with a brand new group of players.

“Returning one player from the previous season has been the norm,” Masden wrote in an email. “Although it’s very early in the process, Spring Mountain looks to be competitive in conference and divisional play this year.”
