Boerst scores three TDs as Knights rout Thunderbirds
Round Mountain’s Austin Boerst had three touchdown runs to help the Knights (3-1, 1-1 Division IV Southern) rout host Indian Springs (0-2, 0-1) 54-6 on Friday.
Boerst scored on runs of 47, 5 and 35 yards. Garrett Cecchini added TD runs of 6 and 48 yards for the Knights, who built a 30-6 halftime lead.
Jacob Carden’s 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter accounted for Indian Springs’ scoring.
